「上手く歌おうとするな。魂を込めろ。」 日本橋人形町に生を受け、12歳で一家離散、闘病生活。音楽活動55周年を駆け抜けたドキュメンタリー映像。「ミスター・イエロー・ブルース」と呼ばれ、一人アメリカに挑んだ男とは。 ブルースの聖地、ミシシッピ・デルタでのブルースフェスティバルに東洋人として初出演し、4万人の魂を揺さぶった大木トオル。ショービジネスの本場アメリカ・ニューヨークで偉大な功績を残し、日本の音楽史に揺るぎない功績を残した半生を映像化。 当時の時代背景や、多くの人種差別や苦境を乗り越え日本ブルースマンのパイオニアとなった。また、国際セラピードッグ協会の創始者としてセラピードッグ活動を行っており、毎年チャリティーライブイベントを日本橋ロイヤルパークホテルにて開催。 幼少期の頃に患った吃音症。当時飼っていた愛犬に助けられた経験から、国際セラピードッグ協会の創始者として殺処分ゼロに向けて現在もセラピー活動を行っている。 音楽好きのみならず、多くの人や人種の壁を乗り越える魂の”SHOUT”。ベン・E・キングやマディー・ウォーターズ等錚々たる面々との共演や当時のライブ映像など、ブルースマン大木トオルのルーツを辿った貴重なドキュメンタリー映像。
