みなさんこんにちは、バロックヴァイオリニストの、髙橋未希です。 私は２０歳の頃から日本を離れて留学し、巡り巡って現在はイギリスのバーミンガムで、ヴィオラ奏者の主人、それから5歳と7歳の子供達と一緒に生活しています。 子供達に日本語や日本文化を学ばせる機会を探していて気がついたのですが、 バーミンガム周辺にも日本人の方々が意外と多く住んでいらっしゃいます。そんな中、子供達に日本語と日本文化を学んでもらいたいというお父さんお母さんたちが集まり、協力して運営されているのが、幼児向けの「きりんさん会」、日本だと幼稚園の年齢の子供達が集まる「あさひくん」、そして学齢に達した子供達の日本語教育を毎週土曜日に行う「えびす塾」です。 私の子供達も、「きりんさん会」からお世話になり、上の子は去年から1年生として「えびす塾」に入学しました。 昨年から続く、コロナ対策としてのロックダウンの影響から、えびす塾の活動費用を補填するために開催していた夏祭りなどの特例会も出来ず、今後の活動費の確保が難しくなっています。バーミンガム周辺に住む日本人家族や子供達にとって大切な教育と交流の場を存続させるために、微力ながらチャリティーコンサートを企画いたしました。ロックダウンが続く中での自宅録音となっていることをご了承ください。主人と子供達にも協力してもらい、聴きやすく、子供達にも親しんでもらえるプログラムを考えてみましたので、覗いてみていただけたら幸いです。オンラインコンサートの収入は、手数料を除いた全額をえびす塾へ寄付させていただきます。 えびす塾オンライン・チャリティーコンサート…
